The package has been orphaned by Joey, then been adopted by Guenter
Bechly who ran into severe problems with gtk. He writes:

He then orphaned the package again. The package not done completed
the FHS transition, cannot be built from source and has a S-V < 3.0.
Joey agrees to remove it.
