Bug#93401: ITP: ulogd - the iptables ULOG daemon
Package: wnpp
ulogd provides the daemon needed for ULOG messages (ULOG is a target new to iptables, see http://www.gnumonks.org/projects/ulog).
It can multiplex to files, mySQL, and (eventually) remote hosts. The mySQL module will be split off in a separate package called ulogd-mysql.
No, it's not not replacing syslogd just yet, there's still the old-school LOG target, ULOG is just newer and better.
