Mostly because of buildd.d.o, I'm bumping the severity quite a bit.
aurel32 hammered w-b so that it skips dpkg-repack in the meantime.

I'd say a revert is the best first step in this case, until dose in
stable (or at least stable-backports I guess. And oldstable since
plenty of d.o infra is still not updated) supports this notation.
