Indeed -- I think this is a systematic problem in the Debian community. One technical way to improve matters is to design technical solutions that doesn't lead to concentration of power. I'm not saying that any power is actively mis-used here, it is just that with powers comes responsibilities and for a volunteer organization, and having responsibilities that aren't easily shared leads to efficiency issues. I wouldn't really want to find myself in either of the tag2upload OR the FTP Team in a situation like this, and it is probably frustrating for both teams. The problem isn't the other team, it is how these things are setup in the first place. /Simon
