Results for Declassification of debian-private list archives

Hi,

Firstly, a Happy new year to all of you, gentle readers.

At the end of voting, with 348 Ballots resulting in 305 votes
from 298 developers, "Establish declassification procedure for future
posts only" has carried the day. This mean that in 2006
debian-private is only private for 3 years or so, after which posts
can be declassified unless the author objects -- so people sending
mail to debian-private should note this change in the privacy
policy (or else be surprised in 2009).

Statistics about this vote are at:
 http://master.debian.org/~srivasta/gr_declassification.html

The list of voters is available at:
 http://master.debian.org/~srivasta/gr_declassification_voters.txt

And the tally sheet is available for review at:
 http://master.debian.org/~srivasta/gr_declassification_tally.txt

        http://vote.debian.org/2005/vote_002 shall soon be updated
with these details (well, as soon as webwml runs)
