I've had many pleasant and productive communications with James as
well.  Further, I appreciate the work he and the ftpmasters do to keep
Debian working well and not breaking. As a physician, one of the
primary rules I was taught in an ancient one: "Primum non nocere" --
first, do no harm.

I'll gladly trade rapid and substantial shifts in archive for the
stability and well-functioning archive that we enjoy. Sure, in an
ideal world, I'd be glad to have ftpmasters *and* (other) Debian
developers working on Debian 24-hours a day to make the the most
full-featured and up-to-date Linux distribution. But, we are all
volunteers. I think we should appreciate the postive things this group
of volunteers have created and not get inflammed/insulting over its
weaknesses.
