It's not the copyright holder who is prevented from distribution, it is
you who are prevented from distribution.


Yes, of course. But to be prevented from distribution I should have the
program first. This can happen because someone distribute it to me under
non-free license. There is no other way to be prevented, or I miss
something? Well, I can not distribute program, if I do not have it. But
this have nothing to do with the license. I also can not distribute free
program which I do not have. If you mean the case that I can not
distribute the program because copyright holder do not give it to me
then it is the same as when free program owner rejects to give me
his program. So such cases are not relevant to free vs non-free
discussion, since they are independent from license. Do you agree?
