Revised Intention to Stand

I still intend to stand, but thought this time I'd tell you a little
I'm 21 years old, male, and a student at Cambridge University
(UK). I'm a veterinary student, and likely to continue in clinical
virology, given half a chance.
I've been a developer for some time now, and maintain a few useful
packages (trn, word2x, electric-fence, etc.), as well as debroster
(the only bit of my own code I've put into Debian). I'm currently
involved in Peru, an attempt to do a web-browser the right way(TM). I
have a fair bit of coding experience, and have occupied many a
vacation in software development (last summer, playing with the BSD
kernel for my sins). I'm also the author of the GNU/Hurd installation
I'm an elected officer of the Tolkien Society (registered charity
number 273809), and have started up the Student Run Computing Facility
in Cambridge (the machines of which all run Debian), which has
required a certain amount of persuasion of the University Computing
Service. I also serve on the college computer support team.
That should be enough to be getting on with ;)
All the Best,
"At least you know where you are with Microsoft."
"True. I just wish I'd brought a paddle."
