1) Read the release notes.
2) Do as they say.
3) aptitude update
4) aptitude --simulate safe-upgrade
5) Inspect the results and decide whether to proceed or come here for
   help.
6) aptitude safe-upgrade
7) If that goes ok
    aptitude --simulate full-upgrade
8) Inspect the results and decide whether to proceed or come here for
   help.
9) aptitude full-upgrade
