Well, Akregator has feature that tell a connection is encrypted or in plain text, like sane browsers has "pad-lock icon".

Yes, I am passing https url for all my feeds, those planets kde and debian are just eg. that comes with defeult install. (Yes I have checked and again saved them as https, still showing unencrypted) but this is applicable for all feeds.

After you mentioned it, I used ```tcpdump``` and scanned traffic on port 80 while fetching the feeds no out, while on 443 it is showing some output. I would like to mention that it is my first time using any networking tool, and I followed some article from the net. So maybe I am doing it wrong. But if traffic is going through port 443 and is encrypted, shouldn't this count as a bug?
Thanks.
