There used to be an extension wrangler for MacOS (maybe it's still around) that would do a binary search for a misbehaving extension. So, if you have lots of login tasks and good record-keeping, that may be more efficient.
But, if there are several tasks that all cause parallel delays, neither method would find it (probably). In that case you'd probably have to try with none active, and enable them one at a time. Sounds laborio
