BTW, the increase of the initrd.img-* size over the last two years:

-rw-r--r-- 1 168M 2025-09-18 12:52:40 initrd.img-6.16.7+deb14-amd64

(I'm keeping initrd.img-6.7.12-amd64 due to an issue with the
later kernels.)
