Unusual errors during apt-get update

Hello everyone,

A few hours ago I ran apt-get update and ran into the following error messages:

"""

Err:8 http://deb.debian.org/debian trixie-updates/main Sources.diff/Index
Need 2877 compressed bytes, but limit is 2788 and original is 2788
Get:9 http://deb.debian.org/debian trixie-updates/main amd64 Packages.diff/Index [2,713 B] Err:9 http://deb.debian.org/debian trixie-updates/main amd64 Packages.diff/Index
Need 5956 compressed bytes, but limit is 5412 and original is 5412
Get:10 http://deb.debian.org/debian trixie-updates/main Translation-en.diff/Index [2,713 B] Err:10 http://deb.debian.org/debian trixie-updates/main Translation-en.diff/Index
Need 4171 compressed bytes, but limit is 4096 and original is 4096

"""

Reexecuting the command worked correctly. After this I wanted to learn more, but the only reference to such errors I could find online was the following thread on the debian subreddit where another user reported encountering the same issue recently: https://old.reddit.com/r/debian/comments/1ndt5wp/131_trixie_apt_shows_errors_need_5956_compressed/

There doesn't seem to be anything actually wrong but this seems very unusual. I'm curious as to what might have caused this error, or whether it might be indicative of a larger problem.

Thanks,

monodev
