Indeed. I would suggest to check if there's a spare available in the 
array, and then replace the disk in question with it now.

If there's no RAID or no spare, start the backup now and order a new disk.

represents nearly 10 years if I can still do some basic math.

This disk has deserved to be decommissioned :-)
