That's also pretty old for the nVidia drivers -- which version of Debian
are you using, and which kernel?
That's the driver nvidia-detect says to use.

kelebek333 at Butterfly has a legacy-nvidia-390-driver. The instructions say to use add-apt-repository to download a ppa. add-apt-resository no longer exists but further instructions give a repository name and then to use apt-key — which also no longer exists.
