I still think it would be useful if gdm3 and sddm put their "choose a
window manager" widget at bottom center, not bottom right.
Perhaps you can configure that, possibly by editing a file under /etc?
lightdm has a utility that lets one do some configuration from the GUI.
You might look at the kde-config-sddm package.
I can't get to kde-config-sddm except by way of KDE settings, which I can't get to, because I can't select KDE from the "select window manager" widget, which login screens position off the screen if the VGA monitor "auto configures" itself to be horizontally wrongly positioned by a few hundred pixels.
It would be better if gdm3 and sddm put the widget at bottom center instead of bottom right.
