I'm planning to try T-Mobile home internet (both for myself and a friend), and
in her case, I think I might need an external antenna, and I'd like to consider
being prepared to do that during the 15 day free trial T-Mobile offers.
I am in marginal signal area for cellular and in a metal building.
AT&T signal inside is marginal; T-Mobile is not useable.
I bought a refurbished booster from wilsonsignalboosters.com which
offered a refund if not satisfied. An outside antenna, mounted on a
8-foot pole and a inside unit with external AC supply with a single
6-inch antenna made the cellular signal useable indoors.
A primary goal is to minimize RF exposure, therefore I do not like
WiFi. For a computer connection, I would put a signal booster
separate from my living/working area and use the Ethernet output.
