problem installing trixie
Hi,
I have tried to install trixie, however, I ran into two problems at the
very beginning:
.) When I want to boot the computer, the system is not found
automatically. I have to go into BIOS for selecting the disk to have it
booted. At the installation process I chose manual partitioning and
assigned a small partition as fat32 partition at /boot/efi and a bigger
one as root partition. Maybe this was not correct? /boot/efi is empty
now which probably shouldn't be.
.) When I type, even on the console, there is a delay. Reminding me on
working remotely with a not really good connection. Mouse is also crazy,
one is super slow, the other one super fast, also with delay.
Can anyone help me? Maybe I should go back to bookworm, maybe the
installer works better there? However, when I boot a grml.org stick, it
also uses trixie and everything is workin there. I am a bit desperate
and under timely pressure to have the computer running.
Thanks in advance,
Flo.
