I also wear trifocals, and have astigmatism.
They make clip on / flip up reading glasses. I see the best price on
Aliexpress (other places I've checked are 2 to 6 times the price).
I bought several (they were less expensive before the tariffs) to experiment
with determining what magnification I should get on a pair of what I'll call
of computer bifocals -- I want a pair of bifocals with near vision on the
bottom and the rest of the lens to be suitable for viewing my computer from
34" away.
So far +1.25 isn't quite good enough, and I'm probably going to buy the flip
ups in +1.50 and +1.75 to see which does the job. (IIUC, the "near vision
portion of a bifocal or trifocal is +2.50 by default.)
(Aside: I rigged a hanging thing so I could measure the distant that my eyes
are from my computer screen when I am sitting normally.)
