I've been using okular for many years, mostly because it's part of the standard Debian install. Version 22.12.3 is the one I currently have.

Lately when I do a search or click a link to another page, it doesn't display the correct page. Is this a known bug? Or is it a feature?

Thanks for mentioning atril. It's very fast, and DOES land on the correct page.
