If all else fails, make sure both GUI and minimal systems are fully
upgraded, then run   dkpg -l > some-file   on both, and compare with
diff -u   to get a rather long list of packages installed on the GUI.
Peruse the list, skipping the lib* packages at first reading, looking
for those relevant for networking.

(This won't find /configuration/ differences.)
