Ugh...

(considering I looked at it thrice: once before sending, a second time 
when receiving via the list and a third time at Greg's comment)

Indeed I meant 'apt upgrade' succeeds in most cases.

The cases that need 'full-upgrade' are maybe 1 in 10, possibly less 
(didn't actually count), at least with my set of packages.
