Frequent freeze and Gnome restart

Hi

I've been trying to diagnose this for a while now and its actually been happening for months. Sometimes when it comes out of suspend it doesn't and needs a hard reset. Also, quite often it will freeze during a normal session, blank and then return to the Gnome login screen. I'm really not sure if the 2 issues are related but i do note common lines in /var/log/syslog and messages - an example is below.

[108086.677139] gnome-shell[1998]: segfault at 100000098 ip 00007ff8955422b3 sp 00007fffdcd79a88 error 4 in libmutter-6.so.0.0.0[7ff89548f000+f5000]

this just happened again, now with libmutter-7

I'm at a loss how to report this as I don't think I have enough to suggest libmutter (do i?) and then there's the suspend issue. The last one of those from a couple of days ago i think i have isolated to the below:

Oct  3 16:13:17 fitter gsd-usb-protect[2092]: Error calling USBGuard DBus to change the protection after a screensaver event: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.usbguard1 was not provided by any .service files

I am totally stumped on where to look here or what might be at fault TBH. Suggestions appreciated.
