Hi, Rebecca, this is Debian's users list, not GIMP developers bug
tracker. Maybe you should check what are the best ways to inform of a
problem and ask for some help -always in a gentle and respectful
manner, because this is just a voluntary community effort.
Anyway, you're not giving any relevant information, e.g., Debian
version in use, symptoms of that crashing, the output of a terminal '$
gimp', etc.
Probably with more (some) info about your issue someone will aport an
idea to solve it.
