Oh, I guess
./some_tool > /tmp/list
vim /tmp/list
xargs -a /tmp/list command
is not something that is possible, then?
The question was about calling the command, not generating the list.
Anything about generating the list, was and is a waste of time. Which is
why it will probably be my last mail on this.
