For some reason unable to file a bug report. Tried under kernel and the
Linux Image as well.

Here is my issue. I'm using Debian Testing Mate and a couple days ago I
did my update/upgrades. I received the new Linux Image 5.6.0.1. After I
did the update/upgrade I also did the dist-upgrade as well like I
usually do.

I rebooted the system When I logged into the latest Image everything was
flickering. I would try to open something and it would constantly
flicker on me. I would have trouble trying to make anything out at all
on the screen. Everything I tried to open was the very same way. I tried
to do a report on the 5.6.0.1 in tty but was unable to send it. The
report did a save to the /var/temp. I clicked on it to make sure all was
well but it was a blank page. So at the moment I'm having to go back to
the older Linux Image  I was using prior to this new one.

This was the only way I could let you know about what's going on with
the latest Linux Image on my system. I using amd64.  I tried to get as
much information as I could for you but if you are needing more please
let me know. Again I'm having to use the older Linux Image at this time.

Thank you for your help.

The only difference in the following is the Image version because I'm
having to use the older image.
