But the adapter is a 802.11ac one, it should be able to comply with the change

The problem is any of these measures have a great impact on wifi
performance, and there are other devices in the same network working
just fine with these 80 MHz AC mode channels so I prefer to debug the
problem and find a solution instead of cripple the performance of all
connected devices.
