Re: how to seamlessly play audio clip

Thanks!

the problem isn't with leading or trailing silence
i can play part of of audio clip repeatedly (using -ss -endpos)
it still has gap

i've tried vlc, it also has gap
i want to try cvlc, but don't know how to fast forward
and cvlc doesn't display time passed, it makes testing hard

Are you sure that's not a leading or trailing silence in the recording?

You might try the VLC command line player. VLC does not insert a gap.
