No, there isn't any dependency, even recursively:

ypig:~> apt install -s wicd
[...]
The following additional packages will be installed:
  python-glade2 python-notify python-wicd rfkill wicd-daemon wicd-gtk
  wireless-tools
[...]

and I don't have gksu already installed:

ypig:~> dpkg -s gksu
dpkg-query: package 'gksu' is not installed and no information is available
Use dpkg --info (= dpkg-deb --info) to examine archive files.
