OK thanks. I didn't actually know that, but for a long time my
practice (at work)
is complete re-installation rather than upgrade.

Yes, thanks for the "fine print". And don't forget to point out that one might
actually want to try things out on the upgraded system before the
version upgrade.
Not just reboot and resume upgrading. Instead really try-out things
before the upgrade ;-)
As I have experienced first-hand ;-)
