I don't think so. Emacs has evolved quite a bit since then.

This could be an advantage, since you'd understand better why,
e.g., the tutorials insist on control-key combinations instead
of the arrow keys (although those work: I admit on using those):
you've lived through pretty strange keyboards yourself.

Just show me the editor which takes you to a function's source code
(yes, even to the C source itself!) within a few keystrokes.
