Yes, I have seen that requester many many times, but when I go to the
adobe site like the suggested link goes to, the only version it offers
me is exactly what I've had for ay least 2 years, the last one afer
which they stated that no new linux compatibles would be released, that
was the last one.

Can you explain that?

As a FWIW I have these installed: (hand copied from the synaptic screen,
and these archives are not present in /var/cache/apt/archives. Accuracy
of hand copying dubious)

flash-plugin-nonfree 1.3.2+wheezy1
pepperflash-plugin-nonfree	1.4~bpo60+1
browser-plugin-lightspark	0.6.0.1-2
browser-plugin-gnash 0.8.11~git20120629-1+deb7u1
konqueror-plugin-gnash same version as above

All the usual lightspark suspects are installed, as are all the usual
suspects for gnash.

I have put up with this slow destruction of what iceweasel can do, dating
back to other installs as long as 2 years back. No one else seems to be
having problems with it they can't fix.

Whats next? Nuke em all & see if iceweasel can fix it when its all
missing?
