Hi there !

howdy, pardner.

I spent too much time on the Internet to find how to create folders
in Gnome Shell.

i gather you did not intend to reply to the thread regarding security
cameras.

i imagine, instead, that you meant to begin a new thread. perhaps you
thought replying to a message sent to the security camera thread,
while changing the subject line, would be sufficient to do this.

but lo, check out the other headers of your message, and behold the
failure of your email client to divine your intent:

good email clients pay attention to these headers, and consequently,
your desperate plea for aid in mastering the use of gnomish software
is buried deep, deep within a thread regarding security cameras.

down here, only callous libertarian cattlemen and suspicious
laundromat proprietors can hear your cries (and, i suppose, people
whose email clients don't understand threads).

what this means for you: basically, only people who really, really
care (as in, like, twenty-two messages' worth of devotion) about
security cameras will see your message.

for some reason, the thing you just did is called hijacking a thread.

but it would be better to say that you let the thread hijack *you*.

if i were you, i would start over. send a new message to the list,
not a reply.

happy trails.
