And Debian has an LSB package. Install it and your LSB-compliant
software will run (assuming dependencies are satisfied: those are your
problem if you are not using the packaging system). If you know of any
counterexamples file bugs. Debian's adoption of Systemd as the default
init does not obligate any upstream developer to write Systemd into her
software.
