Could you elaborate on this? Is this a linux console or a graphical 
screen with a terminal in the upper left corner? Or maybe it is the 
maintenance console (with the "Press Control-D" prompt)? Did the 
'apt-get' command prompt for removing packages (if yes, which ones)?
