Yes. Before multiarch, you had to install the 32 bit Canon packages with "--force architecture" (this is what the Ubuntu guy does in his script).
With multiarch, dependencies are resolved properly for the 32 bit branch after adding the i386 architecture and the Canon scripts (for both the cnijfilter-mx870series and scangearmp packages) work without any modification on amd64.
Printer and scanner work fine, scanning with the Canon app.The scanner now is supported by sane (which was not the case with stable), there seems to be a problem with the ADF however in xsane and simple-scan (both hanging).
