Hi the Dell Inspiron series run well on linux, and have the advantage the audio
input is stereo,.
One minor caveat is that this machine a N5030 does not like debians wireless
network.
It will connect then disconnect repeatedly for about 5 mins , settle for a
while then do it all again. So Wheezy has a problem.
But it runs really well on Fedora FC16, no wireless problems.
Also you can do a network install unless you use WEP, so if your wireless
network doesn't support it , you will have to use a cable connection.
IMO this is a silly situation, and loses new users.
