decryption of "rootpw --iscrypted XXXXXXXXXXXX"

Hi Linux lovers,

I am wondering what type of encryption is used by the option :

rootpw --iscrypted

in the kickstart file ?

And is there away to get back the password in clear text from that encrypted text ?
