It will, but just letting the OP about PAE incase they didn't know. Many

Axel has a great email explaining PAE and 32 - 64 bit, for those who need any clarification

Yes, you're right: 64bit gives you all you want;-)

However, 32bit together with PAE gives you a part of it:
 - the 32-Bit PAE-Kernels can use > 4GB and distribute it to different
   processes
 - However, a single running process on the 32bit PAE-Kernel is limited
   to 4GB of Ram.
So, when you have MANY processes running at the same time, each of which
uses less then 4GB, a 32bit PAE-Kernel might be sufficient.
On the other hand, if you have ONE process which will need more than 4
GB, you NEED 64bit-Kernel -- 32bit and PAE-Kernel won't be a solution
for you.

However, 64bit operating system is more efficient and flexible than
32bit + PAE-Kernel, as soon as you have 64bit hardware (That's my
personal opinion:-))
The main reason why people continue using 32bit + PAE is, that there are
some programs which do not exist for 64bit (like the new flash plugin
from Adobe, so no Google Maps street view on 64-Bit Firefox;-)). Then
you can either install a 64bit Kernel & 64bit Debian, and some 32bit
programs on top of it, or stay completely on 32bit...

However, on a server this shouldn't be a problem for you.
