cups printing stops half the way mostly

Hi,

My printings print fine only if there is minimum to print on the page. If
there are more content in the page, the printing will stop less than half
of the page, only about 1/3 to be more correct.

I believe it is a bug of current cups (and its driver), because the
printer was working fine with Etch. It's been quite a while like that,
ever since I upgrade to squeeze, I was hoping that the problem can
disappear by itself but apparently now.

This is my printer:

  $ /usr/lib/cups/backend/usb
  direct usb://EPSON/Stylus%20CX1500 "EPSON Stylus CX1500" "EPSON Stylus
CX1500 USB #1" "MFG:EPSON;CMD:ESCPL2,BDC;MDL:Stylus
CX1500;CLS:PRINTER;DES:EPSON Stylus CX1500;"

This is the last several lines from /var/log/cups/error_log:

D [31/Jul/2010:16:13:28 -0400] [Job 26] Gutenprint: Reading 17820 1458

write print data: Input/output error"

This is the last several lines from dmesg:

$ dmesg | last

[1051398.585963] usblp0: nonzero write bulk status received: -62

Any way I can investigate further on this please?

thanks
