It says it's the same chip as in the audigy cards family aka ca0106

I would try with this chip and give up if it does not help.

The information provided on the mail list and on the internet means it's
most probably not working with linux. Did you ask the ALSA developers?

May be it's really true that's under development

lets see what you have in /proc/asound/cards and /proc/asound/devices

ah, and something else.

1) install latest kernel
2) install latest alsa drivers. Try may be also the development tree as
suggested in one other posting
