If you visit

http://www.google.com/linux

and copy/paste the subject of your mail into the text box, you'll get
quite a few links that will help you answer your question.

- From the description of the package:
/--------
$ aptitude show ntfs-3g
[...]
Description: read-write NTFS driver for FUSE
The ntfs-3g driver is an open source, GPL licensed, third generation
Linux NTFS driver which was implemented by the Linux-NTFS project. It
provides full read-write access to NTFS, excluding access to encrypted
files, writing compressed files, changing file ownership, access right.
\--------
ie. 'excluding access to access right'

There are also man pages. Try 'man mount.ntfs-3g'.

'apropos ntfs' shows a list of other related man pages that are
installed on your system.

Cheers,

Johannes
