I was just wondering why your tx-power is set Off

with this wireless won't ever work ... I don't know if it's related to the
original question though.

Ah...that might be the problem, i'll check more on that

so far

eden:~# iwconfig eth1 txpower auto
Error for wireless request "Set Tx Power" (8B26) :
    SET failed on device eth1 ; Invalid argument.
