I have a Dell with NVIDIA GeForce card.. right now I use the sgfx -c from a
terminal to update the driver.
are you saying you use the NVIDIA..###.run and then:
Extract the .run and then run the 'nvidia-installer' inside it
with --no-kernel-module
??
