Are there any known problems / gotchas with OpenDNS? I do know that they redirect google queries through their own servers and return ads in place of unregistered domains, but those 'features' can be turned off. Anything else that I should be aware of?
Sorry for shameless plug, but OpenNIC does what OpenDNS does, but provides a cleaner feed, and is run by the community. Anyone can join and run the project, alot like Debian! OpenNIC also does not inject ads or anything. If a domain does not exist, you get an error not an ad!
Again sorry for the plug, but couldn't help myself with this thread. :-) -- Cheers, Julian De Marchi -- OpenNIC user - http://www.opennicproject.org/ | http://www.opennic.glue Support OpenNIC, become a member today! -- http://www.geek - Secure you domain! -- Please avoid sending me Word or PowerPoint attachments.
