Hey Andrew,

I'm using upstream - the newer versions have certain features I really can't
miss (especially extensions). I'm quite disappointed about the Debian policy on
some packages (even in sid), but that's no deal-breaker for me, since I'm
used to compiling XMonad from source anyways. As I'm a Haskell apprentice I also
like to tinker with the code every now and then, so it's better for me to use
the darcs version anyways.

Btw. is there any way to speed that process (in Debian) up? Like me making a
.deb for the current version and proposing that? (sorry, I'm (again) rather new
to Debian - started out with Sarge, but have made some excursions to Gentoo and
other (non-)distros in the past)

Aleks
