Can't to install postgresql-7.4 server on Etch

Hello!

On my Debian Etch server I can't to install postgresql-7.4 server.

I get the error message:

not open file "/var/lib/postgresql/7.4/main/global/pg_control" for
reading: No such file or directory

I try to search the solution with Google but find not any hint.
