proftpd -> can't login normal user

Hey!

I installed proftpd and added a new user especially for. However, i can't login from a remote machine and i don't understand why ( this used to work in ubuntu ).
Here is my proftpd.conf file:

#
# /etc/proftpd/proftpd.conf -- This is a basic ProFTPD configuration file.
# To really apply changes reload proftpd after modifications.
#

# Includes DSO modules
Include /etc/proftpd/modules.conf

# Set off to disable IPv6 support which is annoying on IPv4 only boxes.
