Re: file format question

Try apt-cache search gnome-orca, when you run that package you start it up by typing orca --text-setup in a gnome-terminal session after login has worked correctly.

What does the /etc/ttytype file format have in it? I have X coming up on
this system and do not have an /etc/ttytype file so for now have to do
control-alt-f1 and do a console login. Also orca --text-setup can't run
because display is not set. I think the missing /etc/ttytype file may be
contributing to this situation so would like to create one correctly.
Also, there is no man page in section 5 for this file.

I don't have an /etc/ttytype file either and my system works perfectly.
I don't start X automatically but with startx from a console login.

apt-file search /etc/ttytype only comes up as part of the yard package.
I have no idea what orca is since apt-file search bin/orca doesn't find
anything.
