I seem to have screwed up with the egrep command. Please send the full
output of amixer so that we can see the settings of the capture
channels. (Amixer is a command-line tool to read and change the ALSA
mixer settings; it is much easier to copy/paste its output than it is to
describe the position of sliders and other GUI elements.)
